Biggest Winners

SuperEnalotto has produced some incredible stories of life-changing wins over the years.

Here are a few of the most notable:

The Avellino Winner (2023) - In February 2023, a single ticket from Avellino, Campania, won the biggest SuperEnalotto jackpot ever recorded, worth €371.1 million. The ticket was purchased on behalf of a Syndicate of 90 different members around Italy. Each winner will take home €3 million in prizes after tax.

The Lodi Winner (2019) - In August 2019, a single player from Lodi, Lombardy, won the second biggest prize ever recorded by SuperEnalotto. The winner, who has chosen to remain anonymous, purchased the winning ticket at a local tobacco shop, and the news of their win made headlines around the world.

The Tuscany Syndicate (2010) - In October 2010, a syndicate of 70 players from Tuscany won a SuperEnalotto jackpot worth €177.7 million. Each member of the syndicate received approximately €2.5 million, and the win was celebrated across Italy.

The Veneto Winner (2016) - In June 2016, a single player from Veneto won a SuperEnalotto jackpot worth €163.5 million. The winner, who chose to remain anonymous, purchased the ticket at a local bar, and the news of the win was a source of excitement in the local community.

The Montappone Winner (2021) - In May 2021, a single player from Montappone won a SuperEnalotto jackpot worth €154.9 million. The winner chose to remain anonymous after the win, however in a town of only 1,600 residents it may be hard to conceal everything from neighbours.

The Bagnone Winner (2009) - In August 2009, a single player from Bagnone won a SuperEnalotto jackpot worth €147.8 million. The winner, who was a regular player of the game, was shocked and overjoyed by their win, and their story was covered extensively in the Italian media.

SuperEnalotto has the record for being the largest jackpot in Europe.

Paying out over €370M in 2023, this game has proven to have a higher reach than even the EuroMillions draw, which can only gain up to a maximum of €250M under the current game rules.

Before the 2023 win the biggest jackpot had been the 2019 jackpot worth €209M. Purchased in a bar in Lodi, this ticket was sold to a single winner who chose to remain anonymous. The bar received a commission for selling the winning ticket. The 2023 jackpot is the largest Syndicate win ever seen in Europe. The second largest Syndicate gain came in 2010 when a group of 70 players in Milan won a total of €177M.
